Job Description Job Description We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team in the Spokane - Coeur d Alene area. The role involves ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards, maintaining financial models, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations and analyze terms that impact revenue recognition. • Develop and maintain revenue recognition models for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Update monthly revenue forecasts and expenditure reports in coordination with project managers. • Conduct critical evaluations of forecast changes to assess their impact on revenue recognition. • Establish and implement processes and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Prepare analytical reports on revenue and unbilled receivables to support financial decision-making. • Manage customer invoicing and reconcile balance sheets related to revenue recognition on a monthly basis. • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address financial discrepancies and optimize processes. • Assist in documenting and communicating revenue recognition judgments in partnership with the Revenue Manager. • Promote a positive and collaborative team environment while contributing to organizational success. BENEFITS OFFERED: -SALARY RANGE: $95 - $115k - Healthcare Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision - Other Insurance: AD& D, Short and Long Term Disability, Life Insurance - Retirement Plan: 401k plus company match - PTO: paid holidays and additional paid time off • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. • Active CPA is required. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue recognition accounting, with knowledge of percentage-of-completion methods. • Experience in public accounting, preferably with Big 4 firms, is highly desirable. • Ability to work independently, identify issues early, and propose actionable solutions. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside excellent organizational abilities. • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage tasks and projects from start to finish.
