Position Purpose: To provide leadership on projects to ensure crews
are safe and efficient, budgeted profit margins are met, quality
standards are met, and customers have a high level ofsatisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications • 7 (Seven) or more years of experience in
commercial roofing project management. • High School Diploma or
equivalent. • Knowledge of a variety of commercial roofing systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations. • Current and valid
driver's license. Essential Functions • Ensure the highest level of
customer satisfaction possible. • Provide initial client contact to
assess scope of work, details of material and equipment
procurement, and assign resources required to successfully complete
the project. • Ensure proper leadership and supervision is given to
our craft employees and/or subcontractors. • Manage all
construction activities of assigned projects from start to finish,
to include assuming responsibility for financial performance of the
projects managed, including estimating, submittals, RFI's, change
orders, etc. • Manage Construction Safety Program, in conjunction
with Safety Manager. • Inspect and ensure that job site safety
procedures are being followed. • Monitor compliance with building
and safety codes, and other regulations. • Create the schedule,
determine labor and material requirements and perform project
preplanning. • Manage and maintain the construction schedule. •
Spend time on job sites, working with and interacting with work
crews. • Monitor and ensure progress with expected and/or
established production goals and obtain information needed by
Project Management. • Produce and submit reports and/or
documentation as required. • Review shop drawing submittals from
subs. • Manage sub-contractors and vendors to ensure quality
control, project compliance, and proper sequencing. • Resolve
problems as they arise from the plans and specifications/unknown
existing site conditions. • Resolve problems and conflicts with
sub-contractors and vendors. • Effectively and efficiently manage
the completion of all punch lists. • Ensure that all roofing work
performed is of the highest quality. • Work with customers/sales
team to meet their requirements/scope on schedule and budget. •
Prepare project reports for management, clients and others. •
Evaluate projects that are running over budget and identify factors
(bad estimate, added enhancements, unforeseen conditions, etc.),
critique options of cost control. Knowledge/Skills • Ability to
understand the project, its requirements, scope, and objectives. •
Ability to read blueprints and specifications. • Ability to problem
solve with excellent attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and
written communication skills • Ability to learn new software and
systems. Experience with a CRM preferred. • Prior field experience
beneficial but not required. Physical Requirements: • Job functions
require the ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, grasp, reach,
stoop/crouch, and crawl. • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry
up to 80 lbs. • Must be able to carry and climb a 32' ladder & work
at heights • Ability to exchange information through listening and
