We are looking for a District Sales Manager. You must be detail oriented, have strong analytical, collaborative & negotiating skills with excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You must be able to problem solve with creative solutions, work with limited direct supervision, be self-motivated, strategic and a team player. To be successful you must have the ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must be detail oriented, have strong negotiating skills with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, be able to solve problems with creative solutions and proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (This is a home office position). Candidate preferably live in the Pacific Northwest area. You will:Partner with key targeted accounts, engaging their commitment to develop and execute an account level growth plan which is reviewed on an annual, quarterly and/or monthly basis to meet the organic sales growth plan of the lubricants business unit.Develop competitive knowledge, creating sales & marketing plans and drive growth in the different segments of the lubricant business and refined fuels such as; agriculture, commercial, construction, trucking and industrial markets.Provide account services, which ensure high post-sales satisfaction, and facilitate positive long-term relationships within the designated geographic area across multiple customer market *********** responsible for sales and growth of branded Lubricants, Refined Fuels and Cenex branded retail sites utilizing CHS Energy Programs.Proactively prospect & develop leads for cooperative & direct brand customers in order to grow Cenex retail site market shareConsult with customers regarding bulk efficiency programs to help customers maintain and grow their bulk Refined Fuels business.Assist customers with the development and execution of their marketing plans to profitably grow the business for customers and CHS.Manage Cenex Brand in designated trade territory.Analyze market share growth opportunities.Generate revenue and/or profit within assigned sales territory and/or accounts.Identify and anticipate customer requirements, expectations and needs.Coordinate the development and distribution of energy related market information (technical and fundamental) to branded customers.Build strong teamwork and relationships with external and internal customers and/or other departments.Manage resources effectively, clearly defining priorities and expectations. Travel 80% of the time within the designated territory w/30% overnight stays. Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications: (required)High School degree or equivalent5 plus years successfully proven sales experience in Lubricants and/or Refined Fuels Must be available to travel 80%within the designated territory.
