The Manager coaches team members to meet or exceed performance expectations, oversees staff administration, and ensures customer expectations are understood and met through ongoing communication with the client and internal partners. The Manager also drives overall performance of the team, ensuring projects and key initiatives are supported and implemented.FunctionAccountable for the day-to-day operational effectiveness of assigned teams, continually seeking opportunities for process improvement, including acting as a project manager when appropriate and necessary.Ensures team understands performance targets and goals, managing team and individual expectations.Maintains leadership standards that foster teamwork and build relationships across multiple departments.Responsible for team performance and client engagement as it relates to ENGIE Impact's day-to-day interaction with a set of contractually unique clients and their book of business.Understands budget and ensures staffing model and other expenses for assigned team meet budget expectations.Supports and leads the implementation of department and company-wide initiatives for assigned team.Regarded as the escalation point for complex client issues for assigned book of business.Participates in client calls for assigned book of business, supporting Client Representatives when needed.Strives to build employee engagement and effectively lead teams through change and overcoming obstacles.Responsible for employee and department development by engaging with team members and ensuring goals and development plans are established and monitored for success.Models and leads a strong client service commitment philosophy.Promotes leadership development, and acts as a mentor for team members.Recognizes and celebrates department and individual accomplishments.Fosters and supports a culture of teamwork to build employee commitment and enthusiasm for the success of the team and our business.Partners with Human Resources regarding staffing, performance evaluations, staff development, and progressive disciplines.
