QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field
required, Master's Degree in a healthcare related field preferred.
Minimum four (4) years' experience in a management/supervisory role
with a strong preference in a clinical setting/ambulatory care
including budgetary and administrative responsibilities. Experience
providing direct patient care preferred. Proven change agent with
demonstrated improvement of departmental operations, patient care,
and financials. Demonstrated aptitude in quality improvement, care
management, customer service, team building, shared leadership, and
regulatory compliance. Proven servant leadership style that
promotes diversity, loyalty, and collaboration within staff and
between departments. Prior experience with Electronic Health Record
(EHR) required.
ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Hearing: within normal limits with or without use of corrective
hearing devices.
- Vision: adequate to read 12-point type with or without use of
corrective lenses.
- Must be able to verbally interact with staff, clients and
public.
- Manual dexterity of hands/fingers for writing, computer
input.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Sitting 25 to 75 % of the day.
- Stand/Walking 25-75% of the day.
- Pushing, up to 30 lbs.
- Pulling, up to 20 lbs. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for meeting with department managers, reviewing
departmental reports, consulting and advising on departmental
functions and budgets.
- Responsible for working with departmental managers to analyze
patient/community needs and deliver appropriate and timely services
focusing on providing the most comprehensive and health-promoting
care to the community.
- Ensures all employment activities are appropriately documented
and reported (i.e. discipline, work-related injury, NovaTime,
etc)
- Performs all supervisory responsibilities and assists in the
recruitment, orientation, retention and performance/compensation
evaluation of all direct reports
- Demonstrates and ensures professionalism in accordance with
Marimn Health policy and procedure, including applicable Codes of
Conduct and Ethics; addresses concerns in a timely manner
- Maintains appropriate relationships and communication with all
Marimn Health departments to ensure performance of quality,
integrated, and holistic health care services
- Reviews and approves departmental student internships and
rotations in collaboration with departmental managers and Medical &
Patient Services Coordinator; works with Human Resource Director to
ensure appropriate agreements between Marimn Health and the
educational institutions are in place prior to engagement
- Provides collaborative support to the Medical Director and
providers as needed
- Provides ongoing mentorship and coaching to department
managers.
- Supports reporting managers in resolving patient and personnel
issues.
- Provides support to the Chief Clinical Officer in all assigned
projects and ongoing daily operations.
- Functions as a positive member of the Leadership Team.
- Coordinates the schedules of clinical staff to optimize access
to patient care in consideration of patient utilization, current
staffing levels and anticipated demand of patient care in
collaboration with Medical Director and Patient Services
Coordinator.
- Identifies, communicates and implements changes to decrease
no-show and cancellation rates with a goal to maintain less than
10% non-utilized appointment time for each provider.
- Collaborates with Medical & Patient Services Coordinator to
serve as a patient advocate for receiving and addressing patient
concerns involving clinical issues.
