Role OverviewSodexo is #NowHiring for our General Manager 1, Conference Services for Conferencing and Events at Whitworth University, located in Spokane, WA. Our successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of professional communication with high-profile clients, managing large conferences on college campuses. Our polished professional leader will have experience navigating campus department relationships and building a team culture on campus to facilitate scheduling meeting rooms and campus groups. Strong business and financial acumen are required to manage contracts, permits, tax exempt documentation, certificates of insurance and more. This role will manage complex presentation technologies including video conferences and large-scale broadcasts. The true budgeted salary for this position is $78,000-$80,000.What You'll Do

  • Manage client expectations, financial expectations and performance
  • Navigate campus department relationships and build a team culture on campus
  • Manage contracts and legal documents including permits, tax exempt, minors on campus, certificates of insurance
  • Manage complex groups with specific scheduling needs, presentation technologies including video conferences and large-scale broadcasts
