Description RN - Surgical Services at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital Providence is offering up to $20K Hiring Bonus for eligible external RN candidates who meet all conditions for payment with minimum 2 years of acute/hospital based experience and up to $15,000 for those with less than 2 years of experience - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment! • Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher within three (3) years of hire
• A RN with twenty (20) years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a BSN
• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license
• If RN holds a multi-state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire. Card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:
• American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
• American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), -or-
• Military Training Network (MTN) - (BLS Provider) upon hire
• One (1) year of acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire -or- completion of the specialty residency located at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing upon hire
