Harborview Medical Center: Washington states Level-1 trauma
center has an opportunity for an Operating Room (OR) Nurse
Manager.Harborview Medical Center's premier OR covers orthopedics,
spine, neurosurgery, and trauma within a 5 state region; (WWAMI
state, Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho).The OR at
Harborview staffed 24 x 7 and performs over 17,000 cases per
year.Harborview has 25 individual OR suites that support 13
different surgical specialties.The OR Nurse Manager duties include
but are not limited to:Plans, implements, and evaluates unit
programs to meet specific patient care needsSelects, hires, and
supervises unit staffPlans and manages the unit budgetProvides
leadership to promote professional practiceParticipation in the
decision-making process, support, and development ofpolicies and
programs.Coordinates interdepartmental efforts to facilitate a safe
environmentfor patient care.REQUIREMENTS:Have/Obtain a license to
practice as a registered nurse in the State of
Washington.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Several years professional
Operating Room nursing experience to include at least one year in
management; supervisory; or lead role (such as Assistant Nurse
Manager).DesiredMSN degree.CNOR certification.Applicants considered
