Nursing Assistant, Certified and Registered - Float Pool at Providence St. Mary Medical Center at Walla Walla, WA







Multiple positions available:







Part Time Day Shift



Part Time Night Shift

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. The CNA supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quite, clean, organized environment using care delivery.







Required qualifications:









  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire



  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire









    Preferred qualifications:









    • Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent



    • Acute care experience









      The Nursing Assistant Registered performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. Working with a preceptor and assuming increased responsibility during the residency, the Nursing Assistant Registered supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment using care delivery. Key functions and specific skills for this job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in the Standards of Practice and competencies for nursing assistants.

      • Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Registered



      • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association









        Preferred qualifications:









        • Successful completion of a pre-licensure nursing assistant program.
