Job Description:

The Staff Pad is partnering with a non-profit health care organization. We are hiring a Behavior Health Provider to provide individual and group counseling services to patients. Our client is a non-profit whose mission is to improve the overall health of their community by expanding access to quality health and wellness services. They hope to fill a void within the community by offering mental health services to everyone, regardless of insurance status.

Work schedule & Comp:
Flexible - full-time Monday - Friday
8 or 10 hour shifts available
No Call or weekends
$67,600 - $110,722 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provides individual and group counseling services within individual scope of practice to assist in clients in achieving more effective personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment
  
• Available to primary care providers for behavioral health staffing and consultation.
  
• Collects psycho-social data about individuals and provides gathered information to providers to assist them in managing medical care.
  
• Perform mental health evaluations utilizing approved evaluation tools assessing amenability to mental health treatment and level of care needed.
  
• Develops detailed care plans for each client and document as part of the electronic health record.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • Valid state license -
    
  • LSCW or LCPC REQUIRED (will also accept LCPCS, LPC, LPCS, LSWI, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTS or LAMFT)
  • Two years of clinical practice with under-served populations desired.
    
  • BLS, CPR, AED required.
    
  • Valid drivers license and insurance required.
