An excellent medical center is searching for an experience Registered Nurse First Assist to join their surgical services department. This will be an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team at a 100 + bed medical center in Western Idaho.
The Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) will work alongside board certified surgeons during surgical procedures to provide direct assistance in a wide variety of cases. The Registered Nurse First Assist will also be responsible handling instruments, suturing and monitoring the patient's condition throughout surgery. This role requires advanced clinical skills, knowledge of sterile technique and the ability to anticipate the surgeon's needs. The Inpatient Registered Nurse First Assist will collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care is provided in every surgical case. The Registered Nurse First Assist should be licensed in Idaho and have at least 3 years of perioperative experience in an acute care setting.
