Position Summary: Special requirements: Labor and Delivery experience. Antepartum and high risk pregnant patients. Magnesium patients. What are expected ratios? 1:2 Are weekends required? Yes Weekends are shared Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Teaching Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 629 Key Responsibilities: Taking vitals for the mom and baby Administering medication Monitoring contractions Identifying complications during labor and delivery Communicating the mom’s condition and needs to the Physician Coaching the mom during labor and delivery Caring for the mom after she gives birth Providing emotional support Required Qualifications: 1 year of RN Labor & Delivery experience ACLS, BLS, NRP Certification by AHA AWHONN Intermediate, FHM AWHONN Advanced preferred Compact or WA State RN License Application Process: Please submit your resume to Anshul at (678) 528-0442 Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly for next steps.
