Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Valid Allied license required Certifications: RRT credential required Must-Have: - Floor care experience - Emergency room experience - Code response capabilities - Rapid response experience Description: The position requires floating between units. Weekends are required every other weekend. Block scheduling is required. Expected ratios depend on patient acuity. Travelers are expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. References must include a minimum of two supervisory references covering a year of employment within a comparable specialty or setting. Clinical responsibilities will include care methodologies associated with respiratory therapy. The role will involve interacting with patients and healthcare team members to ensure quality care. Effective communication skills are essential for success in this position. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative healthcare team. Completion of training modules is required. The job may involve non-billable hours associated with mandatory training.
