Job Description:
Description $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates
that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. The
Recreational Therapist provides a variety of therapeutic social,
recreational and diversional events for participants. Conducts
individual assessment to identify the participants' individual
interests/needs. Develops and implements an appropriate variety of
individual and group activities. Participates in interdisciplinary
care planning. Coordinates the recreation documentation for her/his
assigned group of participants. Leads facility-wide
participant-centered events. Providence PACE is a Program of

Degree Recreation Therapy - Upon hire: National Provider BLS -
American Heart Association - Upon hire: Washington Recreational
Therapist Registration - Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist - National
Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification - if practicing
within this state Preferred Qualifications: - 2 years Providing
