Job Description:
Patient Educator RN - CNA Instructor at Providence Health and
Services summary: The Patient Educator RN - CNA Instructor is
responsible for teaching and evaluating the Certified Nursing
Assistant Education Program through classroom instruction and
clinical oversight. The role requires a Registered Nurse with
experience caring for elderly or chronically ill patients and
certifications such as BLS. The position is part of Providence

care. Description The CNA Program Instructor (RN) is responsible
for instruction and evaluation of educational and clinical
activities for the Certified Nursing Assistant Education Program.
Under direct supervision, provides CNA education services through
presentations, class instruction, skill delivery and review, and
direct clinical oversight. The CNA Instructor must consistently
demonstrate professional performance, and reflect the key moral
commitments, ethical principles, values and philosophy of the

them. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Registered
Nurse from an approved nursing program. Upon hire: National
Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year experience within
the last three years as a Registered Nurse caring for the elderly
or chronically ill of any age, or both. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field. Upon hire: BLS,
ACLS, and/or PALS certification or teaching credentials 3 years RN

for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
