Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a board
certified or board eligible General Surgeon for a 62-day locum
tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity begins on Mar 2,
2026, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 3:30
pm, focusing primarily on direct patient care within both clinic
and operating room settings. Job Details Location: Washington Start
Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 62 days Provider Type Needed: General
Surgeon Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (8-hour
shifts); Operating Room Surgical Cases; 520 hours per quarter, 2080
annually Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct patient care,
accounting for approximately 80% of assignment time Deliver
comprehensive general surgery care in both clinic and surgical
settings Arrive punctually for all scheduled clinics and surgeries
as required Communicate test results to patients and providers per
established directives Adhere to all medication management
policies; no sample medications are to be dispensed Provide
thorough discharge education and coordinated follow-up instructions
for surgical and clinical patients Additional Information Minimum
of 2 years of experience in general surgery preferred Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
certifications required Must possess a license to practice in any
