Doctor of Medicine | Critical Care Location: Spokane, WA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Internal Medicine - Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Join our esteemed medical team as an Internal Medicine specialist focusing on Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. We are seeking a dedicated professional committed to excellence in cardiology, ready to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide cutting-edge treatment and comprehensive patient management. Required Skills: Proven expertise in managing advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology cases. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Demonstrated proficiency in advanced heart failure management, including device therapy and transplant coordination. Experience working with heart failure patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Ability to handle night calls and respond promptly in emergency situations. Familiarity with scope of practice regulations and relevant protocols. Nice to Have Skills: Fellowship training in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Experience with complex cardiovascular procedures and advanced diagnostic tools. Research involvement or publication in cardiology disciplines. Ability to participate in clinical trials or new treatment protocols. Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in advanced heart failure care. Other Requirements: Valid medical license applicable to the state of practice. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, primarily a one-week-inpatient rotation per month, with shifts running from Tuesday 7 a.m. to the following Tuesday 7 a.m. Night call availability, with potential to be called back into the facility as needed.
