An exceptional locum tenens opportunity awaits a highly skilled
Oncologist to become an integral part of a vibrant Cancer Center
team. We are actively seeking a qualified physician to provide
coverage, starting immediately and extending on an ongoing basis.
The assignment is situated near Garfield, WA, offering a serene and
picturesque environment. In response to increased demand, the locum
Oncologist will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch
outpatient care. The coverage type is specifically scheduled for
clinical hours only, providing the physician with the opportunity
to concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care without
inpatient responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position
should be board-certified or eligible in Oncology, with a preferred
fellowship in the field. Active licensure in Washington is
mandatory, and the facility is open to considering providers with
licenses obtained through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
(IMLC). For the right candidate, temporary privileges are
available, ensuring a seamless and expeditious start to the
assignment. As the dedicated Oncologist, you will be responsible
for overseeing an outpatient setting, managing an estimated patient
load of 15 per shift. The practice is well-supported by one RN, one
MA, and one office staff, alleviating the need for provider
supervision of advanced practice providers. Notably, the facility
is not designated as a trauma or pediatric level center, and
hospital privileges are a requirement. The locum tenens assignment
