License: Current Physical Therapist state license. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Must-Have: Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy program. Excellent verbal communication skills. Documentation skills. Ability to provide satisfactory patient services. Team player mentality. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Description: A Physical Therapist plans and executes rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function after an accident or surgery. Physical Therapists assist patients through a combination of physical activity, reflexology, massage, and muscular and skeletal manipulation. Diagnosing movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them is a critical responsibility.
