Licensed Social Worker Location: Spokane, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,690 to $2,884 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Social Worker - Social Worker Case Manager City/State: Spokane, Washington Shift: 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00 Contract Length: 5 weeks Start Date: 04/20/2026 Job Description: Seeking a Social Worker Case Manager to work in acute care hospital settings in Spokane, WA. The role involves providing case management services including discharge planning and conducting mental health evaluations. Responsibilities: EPIC experience Conducting drug and alcohol screens (SBIRT) Performing mental health evaluations (SAFE-T) Conducting capacity evaluations Developing behavior plans Referring to behavioral health services Providing or assisting with tele-psych evaluations Discharge planning Facilitating end of life conversations Managing the Single Bed Certification and ITA process Handling difficult placements Experience in home health, hospice, SNFs Managing Medicaid/Medicare and insurance authorizations Requirements: 2 years acute care hospital experience OR 1 year acute care plus 1 year in Hospice, HH, or other elderly care Required Certifications: MSW LICSW or LSWAIC (only if not needing MHS supervision) Experience with Medical Surgical, ICU, Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery, ER coverage on weekends EPIC system knowledge
