About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred. License:
Valid Washington state respiratory therapist license required.
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, RRT required. Must-Have: Previous
charge experience preferred. Ability to provide care in a
fast-paced environment. Experience in trauma and emergency response
preferred. Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist will
be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to
patients. The position requires floating between different units as
needed. Weekend shifts are required, every other weekend. The
expected patient ratios will depend on patient acuity.
Responsibilities include floor care, emergency response, and rapid
response interventions. The therapist must be proficient in various
respiratory therapies and troubleshooting equipment alarms. Skills
required include intubation, mechanical ventilation weaning,
tracheostomy care, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
Experience with pediatric patients is preferred. The facility is a
comprehensive acute care center with a focus on teaching and
training. Additional duties may include patient education and
collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The successful
candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a
