Oncology Service Line Administrator

Primary responsibility to grow, expand and maintain a selected service line, provide coordinated leadership among selected units/departments to serve as the primary point of contact for physicians and practices utilizing Rockwood Health System facilities. Lead and grow the assigned services program in an integrated delivery system and help achieve the status of being the preferred provider of services in the area. Achieve efficiencies, quality outcomes and patient satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner. In collaboration with the COO, develop the strategic plan for the assigned program with goals and objectives to improve patient outcomes, further physician and staff satisfaction, foster operational excellence, establish strategic direction and achieve financial performance and capital planning.
Demonstrated experience managing profit and loss; strong knowledge of business concepts and financial drivers within a clinical setting. Ability to use financial tools (budgets & forecasts) to measure, manage and communicate business performance to physician and leadership. Demonstrated experience with process improvement, quality management, and analytical skills. Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, draw valid conclusions and quickly translate into actionable items.
Ability to evaluate business standards/processes to assess effectiveness in producing a desired result demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to identify, make decisions and implement systemic improvements.
Exceptional interpersonal and change agent skills with a demonstrated capacity to maintain positive and effective working relationships, influence, and motivate people at all levels of the organization.
Open, articulate, optimistic, engaging and participative leader who inspires respect and credibility; able to generate enthusiasm with personal passion for this work. Willing to take initiative and lead/manage change.
Proficient use of application software, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, and e-mail, preferably Microsoft Office. Experience with a Practice Management Electronic Health Record systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Allied Health or related field, Master's Degree preferred, plus five years progressive practice management experience in a clinic and/or hospital setting, preferably with service line responsibility; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
