Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:00 - 18:30) Experience: 1 year travel experience required License: Valid Respiratory Therapist license required Certifications: NRP certification required (2 years) Must-Have: Neonatal experience required Description: This position requires floating between multiple facilities. On-call duties are not required. Weekends are required, every other weekend. Block scheduling is required. Expected patient-to-staff ratios are 1:3. This role requires experience with neonates. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. References are required from supervisors covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last three years. Modules are non-billable, and average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours spent on modules requires prior approval. Time spent on modules is self-reported.
