is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant Trainer to join and float
between our Spokane, WA clinics. We bring agility to work every day

Premera Blue Cross, to create a primary care offering that is
holistic, seamless, and care centric.The Certified Medical
Assistant Trainer will perform technical responsibilities as a
Medical Assistant, train others on Medical Assisting and front
office procedures in their assigned clinics and be proficient with
EMR utilization and Microsoft Office programs. The CMA Trainer will
collaborate with clinic operations management to develop and assess
training needs, curriculum development, provide preceptor support
and, as needed, provide coverage as an MA and Patient Care
Coordinator staff.What You'll Do:Travel (up to 60%) to assigned
clinics in Spokane and Spokane Valley to provide onboarding and
training for new teammates.Collaborate with clinic management to
identify educational needs, provide ongoing training develop,
curriculum for new hire orientation for new Medical Assistants
Design, continuously improve and adapt curriculum depending on
educational needs.Teach courses and provide training to teammates
on medical equipment and on roles and responsibilities as a
valuable member of the clinical team.Promote critical thinking
among Medical Assistants and show commitment to professional
development and lifelong learning.Conduct competency assessments of
new Medical Assistant and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure skill
knowledge and abilities within 30 days of hire and support annual
refresher training.Incorporate standard operating procedures into
training plans that are consistent with Kinwells workflows and Epic
platform.Serve as a mentor to Medical Assistants and identify
growth opportunities and educational needs for practicing Medical
Assistants.Perform responsibilities as a CMA and PCC to cover
staffing needs.Become a Red Cross certified BLS Instructor to
complete skills check assessments for Kinwell teammates obtaining
or recertifying their BLS certification.Work directly with the
Director of Clinical Operations, Practice Managers, Clinic
Managers, Clinical Trainer, Director of Finance, Revenue Cycle
Manager and Clinical Support Trainers to serve the operational
needs of the Kinwell Clinics.Maintain current knowledge of trends
in area of expertise.May support a virtual clinical
environment.Other duties as assigned.What You'll Bring:Associate
degree or graduate of accredited Medical Assistant
programWashington State Medical Assistant Certified certification,
WA State Only.5-7 years medical assisting experience in a clinical
setting.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care required at time
of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training
Network (MTN).5 years experience working in an Electronic Medical
Record.Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving
and communication skills.Customer service skills to ensure an
enjoyable and pleasant check in, check out as well as pre and post
appointment interaction.Excellent phone communication and ability
to gather history and current conditions from patients prior to
appointments.Ability to interact effectively with associates and
management at all levels.Independent decision-making skills and
ability to influence others to resolve issues.Ability to work as a
member of a team or independently without supervision or
direction.Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment to handle
sensitive and confidential information in a discrete and
professional manner.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
while maintaining strong attention to detail.Proficient in
Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, & Power Point. (Preferred) Epic EMR
experience: 1+ years 2 years experience in clinical education or
