US Foods is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. As a leader in the foodservice industry, we empower our drivers to be the vital link between our quality products and our valued customers. Operating within designated routes, our drivers ensure timely and safe delivery of our extensive range of products, catering to an extensive network of restaurants and foodservice operators across the region. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport food and related products to and from specified destinations, following the rules of the road and representing US Foods professionally. Perform vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any issues or safety concerns. Adhering to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all merchandise is secured and delivered in pristine condition. Maintain logs of vehicle movements and cargo, according to federal and state regulations. Provide excellent customer service during delivery, addressing and resolving customer problems on the route. Strong driving record Ability to handle physical workload Attention to detail Customer service skills Basic knowledge of truck maintenance.
