As the regional carrier for Alaska Airlines, you will fly through some of the most beautiful parts of our country with advanced avionics at your fingertips that keep the flying fun. Pilots sign an agreement to work for Horizon Air for a minimum of two years after reaching ATP minimums.Key DutiesAttend program specific meetings as scheduledCheck in meetings scheduled with program director every 6 monthsComplete monthly survey of flight hoursRequiredActive Private Pilot LicenseValid FAA First Class Medical CertificateValid FCC Permit Restricted Radiotelephone OperatorValid US driver's licenseATP minimum requirements scheduled for completion no earlier than 3 months from today's dateAbility to provide accurate flight records including logbooksMinimum of 21 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, authorization to work in the U.S., and have and be able to maintain a valid passport allowing unrestricted travel, without a TRP, to and from the U.S.Successfully complete pilot development program in accordance with program guidelines (required for Horizon First Officer position)COVID-19 Vaccination RequirementWhere permitted by applicable law, new hires must have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
