Job Description:

*Summary of Position: *

*The HR Assistant is responsible for assisting in all day-to-day human resources responsibilities within QOL Restaurant group, including but not limited to Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar. They will be responsible for completing all onboarding and orientation for new team members. Creation and production of all training materials and ensuring that our teams are following the appropriate training plans. They will assist with weekly payroll as needed and other HR duties.*

*Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions*

* Assisting with weekly payroll
* Onboarding of all new team members
* Holding weekly or bi-weekly orientations for new team members
* Creation and updating of training materials for all positions
* Distribution and training on use of all training materials
* Handbooks for each state are up to date
* Oversite of training for new hires and check in with all new hires through the training process
* Answer questions regarding Paylocity
* New manager set-up and Exit in all systems
* Maintain vendor and property contact lists
* Employee verification
* Maintain employee records in compliance with all state and federal laws.
* Manage emails daily
* Answer phone calls
* Review, coach and track safety meetings monthly
* Assist with special projects in the office
* Post hiring ads on job boards
* Sorting, filing, and posting of invoices and sales reports or assistance to office team on any needs.
* Other duties as necessary for successful and efficient operations

*Work Schedule: *

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. An expected regular work schedule would be from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday depending on the needs of the company and the efficiency of the employee. There may be periods where additional hours are required to complete tasks and/or meet deadlines. Communication with team members on time sensitive matters may require hours outside of regular work schedule.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and or altered by Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of our properties. Employees who violate the Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

*Qualification Standards*

*Education: *

High school diploma or equivalent is required. College degree preferred.

*Experience: *

Preferred one (1) year of human resources or restaurant management work.

*Licenses or Certificates: *

Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates. For example: Computer training, and/or government agency certification.

*Skills and Abilities: *

--- Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience.

--- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

--- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task and prioritize work.

--- Attention to detail, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: You will be collaborating with co-workers, management, and in some cases customers. You will need to be able to listen and communicate effectively.

--- Full availability is required, flexible schedule.

--- Should expect to work 45-50 hours per week.

--- Proficiency in Quick Books is a requirement.

--- Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel are expected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
