The Project Associate is an integral member of a multidisciplinary project team providing daily customer support to clients while completing project related tasks in order to meet client deadlines under the direction of a team leader. This role operates within the Waste Solutions division with the mission of promoting data driven sustainable solutions for complex waste issues in support of ENGIE Insight's overarching goal of promoting sustainability through data management.
Solve complex waste issues for clients involving service and billing issues.
Make outgoing calls to collect contact information and details regarding waste services.
Develop expertise pertaining to waste and recycling to provide clients with excellent service and advance sustainability.
Participate in internal team meetings to provide feedback and updates on projects as well as assist in internal process improvement.
Identify service and cost opportunities for clients that result in cost savings and improved service satisfaction.
Manages and maintains multiple spreadsheets containing large datasets in support of sustainability initiatives across client portfolios.
Participate in data quality control, quality assurance data scrubs, and data gathering to ensure reporting accuracy.
Learn new processes on a variety of software platforms to enhance customer service and data reporting abilities.
Update contract details upon completion of procurement and right-sizing projects and audit to contract.
Facilitate and/or coordinate billing issue resolution utilizing email and telephone, vigorously pursuing cost savings opportunities on clients behalf through persistent follow up with waste vendor personnel.
Coordinate various details for major projects.
Analyze complex datasets and reports across multiple software programs to ensure accuracy.
Respond to customer complaints and concerns to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Prepare and maintain reports and records for processing.
Promote ENGIE Insights brand and services through excellent customer service during normal client interactions.
Provide administrative service to teams by copying documents, composing email and internal memos, researching marketing and creating presentations and reports.
Generate reports, prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports.
Manage multiple tasks on multiple projects including answering phones, printing and/or creating training materials, data entry, scheduling meetings and training sessions and filing documents.
Train and mentor incoming employees.
Work closely with Program Managers, Project Leads, Billing Representatives, and other team members to establish consistent practices.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
Two years program/project management experience in a related field. Two years of experience working with businesses, property managers, students and other groups and organizations.
Standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field required.
Waste industry knowledge is a plus.
Technology savvy, data management and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite products.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude may be required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
