Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE Provide governance over Umpqua's Disaster Recovery Solution. Ensure appropriate disaster recovery runbooks are in place and tests are performed and documented per corporate Disaster Recovery plan. Responsible for evaluating Disaster Recovery capabilities of critical third party service providers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the development and testing of disaster recovery plans and in discovering, tracking, and facilitating the remediation of gaps in our ability to recover. Partner with appropriate IT professionals and the business to ensure plans are tested and results documented. Perform detailed evaluation of recovery capabilities of critical third party providers. Assist with continually maturing and innovating our frameworks, standards, policies, and processes for incident management and disaster recovery across the enterprise. Prepare ongoing KPI's for continuity capabilities. Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities -- knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES none REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Associate, vocational, or technical degree in computer science. Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams toward a common goal. Proven experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Concepts. Experience with reviewing and evaluating vendor continuity plans for completeness. Demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal working relationships. Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously as needed. Proficient oral and written communication.
