Since our inception, more than 65 years ago we have deployed over 21,000 machines.To be able to deliver on our promise to our customers, maintain our values of integrity, service and continuous improvement, and sustain growth rates well above industry expectations, we look for people who care care to make a difference and go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations, both internally and externally.Your role with us:As an Inventory Specialist for Pearson Packaging Systems you will receive, stock, perform cycle counts, prepare and ship customer orders, and perform all the functions necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of parts. You will receive and inspect materials delivered as a result of purchase orders, match the goods against purchase orders, packing slips, and manufacturers part number to ensure correct parts and quantities are processed.Does this sound like you?You are organized and detail oriented.You are the most organized person you know and can be relied upon to accurately prepare and ship customer orders.You can navigate through change.   • By ensuring customer satisfaction with the timely and accurate delivery of parts to our customers.
    What you will need to succeed:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control procedures and techniques in a manufacturing environment
      • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments
        • Demonstrated ability to work with computerized ERP system and to perform basic mathematical computations
          • Demonstrated organizational skills required to maintain and organized and professional work area
            • Demonstrate a positive attitude and share the values of the organization as expressed in Pearsons vision statement
              • Able to lift over 50 lbs.
                • High School diploma or equivalency
                  • Minimum of two years of experience in inventory control functions in a manufacturing environment
