We are offering a $500 New Hire Bonus!Behavior Frontiers is currently hiring for behavior technicians to work in the home setting with our clients, since ABA therapy is deemed an essential service by the government. Due to the COVID-19 crisis we have implemented safety precautions for in-home treatment sessions, such as the use of face masks, frequent hand washing, disinfecting of work surfaces, and more.Behavior FrontiersBehavior Frontiers, LLC is a leading agency providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to help children with autism and other special needs to reach their full potential. Our expert team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and highly trained behavior instructors use state-of-the-art ABA methods to teach children social, communication, play, cognitive, and self-care skills, while reducing problem behaviors. We are seeking energetic and career-minded individuals to join our team. Behavior Frontiers will provide all the training needed for new behavior instructors to be able to make a positive difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorders.Behavior TechnicianHelp children with autism and other special needs to meet their goals using proven ABA methods in a variety of settings, such as the school, home, or community. Behavior Instructors receive extensive training in effective ABA methods, such as discrete trial teaching (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies (NATS), and verbal behavior (VB). Our behavior supervisors provide on-going support and guidance to behavior instructors to assist them with accurate implementation of treatment programs.Availability: Part-timeLocation: Seattle, WashingtonCompensation: $22.00-$28.00/hr. DOEJob Requirements:High school diploma and some college coursework completed, orAssociate degree, orCurrently enrolled in college/university with 2 years of college coursework completed in psychology/related field & 2 years of experience/exposure to autism professionally or personally (e.G., through family/friends), orBachelor's degree in psychology/related field & 1 year of experience/exposure to autism professionally or personally (e.G., through family/friends)Ability to work part-time on at least 3 afternoons or evenings, with the availability to schedule a 2-hour session on each available day between the hours of 3-8pm Monday-Friday or 2 afternoons or evenings, with the availability to schedule a 2-hour session on each available day between the hours of 3-8pm Monday-Friday, PLUS availability to schedule a 2-hour session on Saturdays between the hours of 9am-4pm.6 months experience with children or individuals with disabilitiesVaccination for COVID-19 or medical/religious exemption requiredAdditional Job Requirements:Valid driver's license and auto insuranceAbility to provide negative TB test resultsAbility to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprintingEnergetic attitude and desire to help children succeed!Spanish-speaking is a plus!Benefits for All Employees:Loyalty pay increases every three months!Competitive pay$500 New Hire BonusNever wait for a paycheck again!
