• Will be working in brick production to ensure that good quality product is being produced and packaged.
• Assisting with loading and stacking bricks onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. Will essentially be stacking bricks all day long onto pallets-it's boring, repetitive, hot, loud, and dirty. Working on a conveyor line taking 20lb bricks and grading/inspecting them before turning and placing onto a pallet. For the first few weeks they won't make people work OT so that their bodies can adjust to the physicality of the work Tough hard work in a rough environment. This is not a fun job, it's hot, dirty, rough people, and extremely physical Breaks every 2hrs after which they'll rotate to a different part of the line or to a different department Expectation is that everyone gives full effort. If someone is not giving their all they will be spoken to and told they need to improveSkills:

  • loading/unloading trucksAdditional Skills & Qualifications:-Position requires a lot of bending twisting, and reaching while standing still at a production line. Lot of people get sore hands and backs-Boring, repetitive, hot, loud, fast paced, and dusty/dirty, and need tough skin-VERY physical-lifting 20lb bricks repetitively all day long in same spot on a production line. Lifting roughly 60,000-80,000lbs each day cumulatively -Attendance: if someone doesn't show up it doubles the work for everyone else, people who miss work won't make it long -There will be OT after candidate's worked a few weeks-roughly 50hrs a week until they hire more peopleWill mention again that while on production it is very Physical, the facility is Dirty, old. After the first 6 months is when the HUGE opportunities start to happen with being able to move into maintenance tech roles, Forklift operator, Machine Operator ETC> getting up to $28+/hr but will need to make it past the first 6 months FIRST.
