world.Job Description:POSITION SUMMARYThe Director of Sales plans
and directs all aspects of the company's sales initiatives and
activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, recommends, and implements sales strategies designed
to support the overall company business plan. -
- Meets the annual sales objectives and market share targets by a
combination of direct selling activities and coordinating and
directing the activities of Senior Territory Managers. -
- Represents the company in various industry and professional
forums.
- Establishes strategic sales plans and programs, both short and
long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of the company.

- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential
sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. -
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy to assist Senior
Territory Managers in promoting sales. In coordination with Senior
Territory Managers, meets with key clients to oversee and assist in
maintaining relationships, making presentations, and negotiating
and closing deals.
- Hires, trains, directs and motivates the company's North
American Sales professionals and sets goals linked to the company's
short and long-term plans. Stimulates and coordinates sales by
establishing territories, quotas, and goals. Conducts performance
evaluations and devises and implements employee growth initiatives.

- Devises and implements real-time sales responses to critical
competitive threats and opportunities. Serve as the company's
expert regarding the current market factors influencing sales
results. Directs sales forecasting activities and provides
Management with accurate sales forecasts. Gathers, organizes, and
communicates win/loss causality and provides relevant data to the
Executive Staff for use in mid- to long-term strategic planning.

- Plans and oversees advertising and promotional activities
including print, electronic media, and direct mail. Selects
appropriate advertising and promotional vendors/partners and
negotiates contract terms. Advises employees, dealers,
distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising
techniques and their link to sales campaigns.
- Represents the company and promotes products at trade
association meetings and trade shows.
- Establishes and maintains a corporate image consistent with the
company mission and values throughout all communications,
promotional materials, and events.
- Develops and manages the sales and advertising operating
budgets. Analyzes and controls expenditures of the Marketing &
Sales Department to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Becomes familiar with all company safety standards.
- Performs all commitments/tasks in a timely and professional
manner.
- Performs other duties/responsibilities as required.PURCHASING

Territory Managers and the Marketing Communications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing,
Technology, or related field is required.
- MBA is a plus.Experience and Skills
- Minimum ten years of progressively responsible positions, with
experience in all phases of sales and marketing management,
including experience leading and directing the work of others.
- Proven leadership qualities and a successful record of sales
results and people management experience.
- High energy level and proven ability to prioritize and manage a
complex schedule. Comfortable with extensive travel of at least two
weeks per month.
- Experience with high-level customer relations and willingness
to work with all levels of relationships as required.
- Experience in advertising and promotion, from trade show
participation through literature, video and computer presentation
preparation.
- Ability to succeed in an environment characterized by fast
growth and a high degree of change requiring flexibility and
adaptability to the demands of cyclical markets, new product
introductions, worldwide markets, and continuous upgrading of
standard product lines.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, as well as
sound analytical skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal skills required to interact
with the following business associates

continuous work schedule.Compensation: $146,720 -
